CAMILA ELEUTERIO RODRIGUES
Role: Medical researcher
Research interest: Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), Senescence, AKI to Chronic Kidney Disease progression
Location: Sydney, Australia
I am a very hard worker person, focused on solving problems in an objective way. I graduated in Medicine at University of São Paulo, Brazil, in 2005, and then I post-graduated in Internal Medicine and in Nephrology. Afterwards I started participating in some experimental and clinical research activities at University of São Paulo Medical School, obtaining a PhD in Nephrology in 2015. Since then I have been engaged in many research projects within Nephrology discipline at University of São Paulo. What I like about my work is that it is challenging.
My motivation is to find answers to the questions of how acute insults may lead kidneys to chronic and irreversible injury, and what are the pathways to follow if we intend to revert this.
